01
Choose a landscape, lodge or type-led direction
A landscape illustration puts scenery first; a venue sketch focuses on the building; a type-led layout gives the wording more room. You do not have to include peaks, trees, maps and a monogram on the same card. Pick the visual detail that best represents your celebration and preserve space for the event information.
- Landscape focus: a single scenic drawing with simple text.
- Lodge focus: an architectural illustration and a clear venue name.
- Minimal focus: clean type with a restrained accent.
02
Help guests arrive at the right place
A mountain destination can include several properties or ceremony areas with similar names. Use the actual venue and city on the invitation, then provide the confirmed address and meeting point on the details page. If transport is provided, explain where guests board and when it leaves.
- Confirm the final ceremony location before printing.
- Distinguish parking, shuttle pickup and ceremony arrival instructions.
- Include a reception address when it differs from the ceremony site.
03
Move outdoor logistics off the main invitation
Guests may need to know about terrain, layers, transport and a weather backup plan. These details are useful, but they should not crowd the invitation. Use confirmed information from the venue or planner and provide a wedding website where updates can be made.
- Describe footwear or surface considerations in plain language.
- Explain how guests will hear about any weather-related change.
- List optional weekend activities separately from the wedding events.
04
Check the artwork and the print proof
The current hand-sketched template depicts the building shown in its photos, not your mountain venue. A custom drawing or map requires a separate conversation. For any fine-line illustration, review a proof at final size and make sure the small location text survives the paper and printing process.
- Confirm custom illustration scope, price and timing before purchase.
- Check that the printable file meets your chosen printer’s specifications.
- Keep physical cards and printing arrangements separate from the digital design.

Questions before choosing
Mountain wedding invitations: FAQs
Do you have a mountain landscape wedding invitation template?
The current shop does not list a dedicated alpine or forest design. Browse the existing artwork or ask about a custom illustration before buying.
What should mountain destination wedding invitations say?
Include names, date, ceremony time, venue and city. Put travel, transport, outdoor preparations and weather updates on a separate details page or wedding website.
Can you draw our mountain lodge for the invitation?
Ask about a custom venue illustration and provide a reference. Confirm whether the studio can take the project, the deliverables, revisions, price and timeline.
Does mountain wedding stationery include a guest map?
A map is not included in the current hand-sketched invitation listing. Discuss it as a separate request and verify directions before sharing it with guests.
